RESERVATIONS

A non-refundable or transferable deposit of 25% of the total charge will be debited to your credit card on completion of this process.

All rooms are offered subject to them being available on receipt of deposit.

We do advise you to take holiday insurance to cover the cost of your deposit and holiday.

NO SHOWS

The Hotel will charge the cost of the first nights accomodation or retain your deposit in the event of any guest not arriving for their stay.

CANCELATIONS

The Hotel must be made aware of any cancellations in writing 48 hours before the booking. Faliure to do so will result in the cost of the first night being deducted from your card, or your deposit being retained, whichever is the greater amount.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS

A valid credit card imprint will be required on arrival for further charges such as telephone calls, drinks etc, and any outstanding charges on departure will be debited.

Accounts can be settled in CASH, MASTERCARD, VISA, DELTA or MAESTRO card. Credit cards are authorised on arrival. Regretfully cheques (personal or company) will not be accepted on departure, and any deposit cheques must be presented in sufficient time (at least 10 days) for clearance.

No allowance is made for meals missed or rooms not occupied for the full time of the reservation.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Arrival and Departure: Check in is from 3.00pm on day of arrival, but guests are welcome to arrive early (even for breakfast!). On departure day, rooms must be vacated by 11am, and late checkouts will be charged for.

CAR PARKING

The hotel has limited spaces subject to availability at an extra cost. We advise guests to contact the hotel to arrange car parking for your booking if required. The hotel accepts no responsibility to provide car parking for a guest if a space has not been pre booked and written confirmation received.

FAMILY ROOMS

The current tariff for family rooms are based on 2 adults and 2 children under 12 in a family of four room and 2 adults and 1 child under 12 in a family of three room. Children over 12 or adults sharing a family room will be charged at full single adult rate per person.

LIABILITY

Whilst the hotel brochure or web site is intended to give a fair representation of the facilities available, there may be occasions when certain facilities are out of use. Although every effort will be made to try and ensure that this does not happen, where it is unavoidable, then no liability shall attach to the hotel by reason thereof. If you require further information about any particular facilities or their availability please write well in advance of your holiday so that your queries can be dealt with. The hotel cannot accept responsibility for anything said to you by our staff outside the information given in the brochure or web site and tariff unless it is confirmed in writing. All information given in the hotel brochure, web site and tariff is correct at the time of going to press but services/facilities may be changed during the validity of the brochure.

GUEST INFORMATION

All valuables should be left in the hotel safe.

The hotel is not responsible for any property lost on the premises.

Please bring your own beach towels.

Guests may bring visitors into the Pedn Olva Hotel by prior arrangement with management only. Charges and restrictions apply.

Pedn Olva hotel has a non-smoking policy. Due to new legislation smoking will not be permitted in any public area. Smoking is not permitted in any of the hotels' bedrooms or their balconies. Smoking is permitted on designated areas of our terraces.

Unfortunately Dogs are not allowed in the hotel bedrooms.

Where special arrangements are required, i.e. diet, room location, the hotel must be advised in writing. Whilst every effort will be made to meet these requests, they are not guaranteed and may be chargeable.

We love children at the Pedn Olva Hotel, for the comfort and relaxation of all our guest we do ask parents to keep their children under control at all times. Children under the age 10 must be seated in the restaurant by 8pm regardless of tariff paid.

The hotel operates the Challenge 21 initiative.

The "Challenge 21" initiative highlights the fact that "if you are lucky enough to look under 21 you will be asked to prove that you are over 18 when you buy alcohol". Acceptable forms of proof are: photo card driving licence, passport or PASS* accredited proof of age card. This applies to all residents and their children.

Sea view tables in the restaurant are limited and we regret these cannot be guaranteed during your stay.

MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENTS

As the hotel is now open all year round, you may find that there is necessary maintenance, development or refurbishment work taking place during your visit. We will do our best to keep any noise and inconvenience to a minimum.

Please help us to make your stay a happy one: if something goes wrong on your holiday please let us know before you leave so that we can try to put it right.
